All forms of surface contamination must be removed to ensure a smooth surface, free of moisture and any loose material, or any other barrier to adhesion. Technical assistance and applicator training are freely available to all approved users.
Apply the BONDING LIQUID by means of a brush or roller. Plaster in the normal manner over the BONDING LIQUID while it is still wet. BONDING LIQUID can be added to the plaster (10% water replacement) to improve the final bond.
Apply the BONDING LIQUID by means of a brush or roller. While the BONDING LIQUID is still wet apply a thin “slush coat” (1 part cement, 2 parts sand and 10% BONDING LIQUID water replacement) by means of a block brush or Terylene machine. Allow the slush coat to dry and then plaster in the usual manner. Coverage: aprox 8 – 10 square meters per litre. Coverage does depend on the porosity of the substrate.
As a 10% - 20% water replacement BONDING LIQUID improves adhesion, Water resistance, cohesive strength, toughness and flexibility in plaster, cement, tile grouts, tile adhesives and PVA paints. Note: The use of BONDING LIQUID does not render grouts and plasters waterproof. For that application see HYPERCRETE. Do not apply onto wet surfaces. Do not apply if rain is imminent Clean up with warm soapy water
